This charming kitchen captures the client’s personality and essence of this Victorian farmhouse that is over a Century old. KBK designed the kitchen and mudroom with custom millwork and cabinets. Selection of all materials from decorative lighting, finishes, tile, French hardware, tray ceilings and pantry spaces were then coordinated with local architect and builder. A dry-brush yellow glazed cabinets are emboldened by large scale handblocked damask wallcovering, gold-leaf tray ceilings and a multi-colored tile floor. This space transitions to a bar area with coffee station and then to a sage green stairwell and mudroom with ¾ high wainscot paneling and bench with cubbies for a well-appointed, yet practical and pet-friendly environment.
