KBK was tasked to create an “experience center” for KEF USA ( a high performance loudspeaker manufacturer) that modeled their customer’s residential environment. KBK travelled to Hong Kong (Kef’s parent company GP Acoustics) to assure that the interior of this mock penthouse represented the look and feel of the brand. A theater, training area disguised as a bar, living room, foyer and office were created in what used to be warehouse and a landscaping business. KBK designed all millwork and cabinets, furniture, lighting, plumbing, finish and accessory selections and was instrumental in project coordination between, client, engineers, contractors and architect from design to installation.
