KBK accommodated the client’s wish to cultivate a comfortable living and down-to-earth feel inside this formal estate.
Family Room
KBK created a custom pulled-together look in the family room and curated the custom shades, pillows, and a selection of furniture, carpet, and accessories. A custom screen and KBK-designed mantle completed the architectural elements that were missing in the original space.
Attention to detail is seen in this custom folding screen, lampshades, and window treatment banding detail.
Living Room
KBK kept the living room comfortable, but elegant, by designing a symmetrical layout and a room filled with a mixture of antiques, custom upholstery, and window treatments. Rug, accessories, and custom KBK tossed pillows added the finishing touch.
Dining Room
Existing millwork and a tray ceiling were accentuated by wallcovering selections, the furniture layout, lighting, and accessories. The custom window treatment and fabric selections add a couture look.
Master Bedroom
A combination of custom and retail furniture, lighting, flooring and accessories created this cozy budget conscious space.
Nursery
A custom mural was created in warm neutrals. A touch of pink was added once the baby was born. KBK worked with a muralist to create the wall art, selected retail and custom furniture, then added lighting to complete this peaceful environment.
